One good thing I like about this site is that even though the last comment was on Apr 27, I can still reply and not get the thread locked and me banned like most every site... But for the real reason why I am posting today; I wanted to say some things and give some updates.
First off, I am saddened by how little interaction and playing there is. I was just guessing that once the summer months came around the active player count would increase some and there would be games throughout most of the day. But now that summer is coming to a close I really didn't see that. I know I am at fault as well because I didn't try to play any games myself and that everyone has lives outside of CoC. It just saddens me to see that a game that I loved so much that I played everyday after coming home from school to get away and loved isn't really a thing currently. But I digress...
Second, The TBC website and tourny site... for most people who have followed what I have said before I wont go into everything into detail because it is listed here already in a post I did some time ago and then on the first tourny thread a while back. I know you would think that since it has been over 4 months since I have been working on it that it would all be done. And to me honest it should be as far as the TBC site and the tourny site should be somewhat functional by this point. Like I said in the tourny thread, I decided to split up the tourny system and the tbc community site because yes the traffic would be nice but the site would be over ran by everyone and it would wash out tbc. Therefore I decided to make them two separate sites so tbc and the tourny sites are both dedicated and independent. However, with the host that I had my domains on to work on the site before deployment didn't actually have enough ram allocated to it. So I had to stop development until I got the actual tbc domain that we have. I have talked to @Shu8man off and on but haven't got all the information worked out so I haven't been about to actually start working on the tbc site yet. I hate that but there isn't much I can do about it. So as far as the tourny site... It has made its way through planning and sudo testing, and as of a few days ago, I am deploying the site to the server and making my finishing touches before I actually give out the domain name for public trials. So in that regard, everything is coming along nicely. And if there was anything that I have learned while working on the project.... I think of too crazy and complicated ideas to do with it just being myself working on them. But hey, its a learning experience where I have learned alot of new information on how to do things so that's good.
So yea, that's really all I have for right now. If anyone has any questions by all means ask no matter what it is about, I check the site on a daily basis sometimes more, so I will get to it as quick as I can.
