As you probably already know, the United We Stand Tournament was held last Sunday.
@Florian and @dukeeen put on a great show and we had a good turnout! We would like to thank everyone for making the event possible. You guys absolutely made us happy.
Of course, the 5 teams that played deserve an applause. You all played really well and gave good performances. The tournament was what it was because of you so give yourself a pat on the back.
Without further ado, the teams and members are as follows:
Just 4 Fun: @Shrooms @Kev @Doom
Ninja Turtle V2: @Retro @Ironclad @Kalzarr_Magnus
The Panzer SS: @Wetwork @Pleb @Lego
Team Divided: @Joshrules151 @FeestBeest @ButcherPetee
Team Fall: @Shogun @rickinator9 @Pai_ku_han
The tournament layout was round robin which gave each team the opportunity to test their skills against every other team.
In our eyes, everyone's a winner but alas, there can only be one victorious team. After throwing tons of grenades (and getting hit) and shooting enemies, the team that prevailed is Ninja Turtle V2!
As promised, you will get a uniform skin (which will permanently be available), a medal (which will be shown on the website and in the game in the future) and a spot in the tournament showcase. Additionally, you will get the following for a month: a special grenade skin, 50% promotion points boost and officer rank boost (explained here).
The second place team is The Panzer SS and the members will receive a medal, 50% promotion points boost for a month and will also be mentioned in the tournament showcase. As @Lego requested, his boost will be given to @rickinator9!
Expect your rewards next week! (It will come in a shiny package called the game update.)
The final standings are as follows:
- Ninja Turtles V2 (TNT) - 4 wins
- The Panzer SS (PSS) - 3 wins
- Just 4 Fun (J4F) - 2 wins
- Team Fall (TFL) - 1 win
- Team Divided (TDD)
If you missed the tournament or want to watch it again (or just want to hear @Florian and @dukeeen's voices), here's the VOD:
Feedback and Evaluation
The tournament was definitely a learning experience for us. Our aims were to create an event that the community would enjoy and to use the experience as a basis for preparing future events. We have noted some points and issues that we have to improve on like communication and maps. We are going to work very hard to give you a better experience next time!
If you have any feedback and/or suggestions, please tell us. We would love to hear what you have to say!
